Bill is one of the rare breed of contemporary contractors who stands behind his work and goes above and beyond, with a real attention to detail and the aesthetic of the home he's working with. Not only did his team do great work replacing over 20 new windows on our 100+ year-old home, they also installed worked with us to identify and install the right storm windows on another 20 that would go with wooden Anderson windows we were hoping to preserve. Our 4 basement windows were oddly-shaped, and WKB's team measured/installed custom sizes...and worked with concrete to install them for ground-level application.

But two spots where Bill *really* stands out:
1) Bothered by the fact that the new windows didn't quite match the new storms, Bill had his team install trim of varying width around the two window types so they'd visually match from the exterior.
2) Over a year after the windows were installed, we had a leak in one window (that Bill's team had *not* installed). Bill came and problem-solved personally...once during a monsoon with his wife holding the ladder, and once on a Sunday side-by-side with me (the home-owner), with a rare insistence on getting to the bottom of the problem...even after we both realized the leak wasn't even coming from a window...but from a rotted doorframe the next floor up.

Even beyond his pride in his work and insistence on doing the job right, Bill is just a nice human being to have around the house...eager to smile, nice to your kids, etc. I couldn't recommend WKB Carpentry more whole-heartedly! A true pleasure!
